create_form
Creation starts a draft. It does not publish a public form.
save_form_draft
Uses the complete draft and its current revision. Concurrent edits must be reconciled; existing publication stays unchanged.
publish_form
Validates the draft and rejects stale revisions. A closed form stays closed.
list_responses
Results are paginated. Free includes completed responses; partial responses require Pro or Business.

The same plan limits apply. File answers include metadata, not file downloads.
form_stats
Completed responses, plus started responses where your plan allows. These are not visitor counts, conversion analytics, or billing usage.
Your plan’s normal limits still apply. MCP does not offer form or response deletion, file transfer, account or billing management, or scheduled automation.
Your assistant can read your organization’s forms and responses, create and edit drafts, and publish forms. Access includes forms created by teammates; there is no read-only or per-form selection.
Responses it requests are shared with that assistant and handled under its data policies. Review its work, especially before publishing or sharing a report.
Revoke access in Settings → AI connections. This stops future requests, but does not erase information already shared.
Model Context Protocol is a standard way for an AI assistant to use tools in other apps. trulyform’s MCP server lets your assistant work with your actual forms and responses, instead of just suggesting what you could build.
We provide guides for ChatGPT, Claude Code, and Cursor. The client needs remote HTTP MCP and OAuth support. Availability may depend on its version, plan, or workspace settings.
You can work with your forms by asking questions in plain language. Setup depends on the client: ChatGPT uses settings, Claude Code uses a terminal command, and Cursor has an installation link with a configuration fallback.
No API key is needed: sign in to trulyform and approve access. MCP is included on Free. Your normal plan limits still apply; Pro and Business include partial responses. Your assistant may charge separately.
Yes. Your assistant can find and work with existing forms in your organization, including forms you have already imported into trulyform. You do not need to start again.
Yes. Saving a draft and publishing are separate actions. Review changes and explicitly ask for publication when you are ready. The connection grants publishing access; trulyform does not show a new approval dialog for every publish.
No form or response deletion tools are available. It can remove questions or change content while editing a draft, so review proposed changes before publishing.
The connection covers forms and responses in your current organization, including teammates’ forms. There is no per-form or read-only permission option. Requested data goes to your chosen assistant under its policies.
Partial responses are available on Pro and Business. Free provides completed responses. The same access rules apply when you use an assistant.
Your assistant creates them from the responses it retrieves. They are not a separate trulyform analytics dashboard. Ask it to state the sample size and distinguish what the data says from its suggestions.
Open Settings → AI connections, find the assistant, and choose Revoke access. Future requests are blocked. Information already shared with the assistant is not deleted by disconnecting.
Check your client’s guide below the setup steps for troubleshooting. Confirm that your email is verified, complete the browser sign-in, and enable the connection in your assistant. If your account or workspace does not allow custom MCP servers, contact its administrator.
