Your connection guide

Plug trulyform
into Mistral Vibe.

Le Chat is now Vibe, and its custom connectors live in Work mode. Add trulyform there once, then ask Vibe to draft forms and sum up what people answered.

Before you start

What you need

  • A Vibe account. Mistral includes custom MCP connectors on Free, Pro, Team and Enterprise, and still labels them beta.
  • Admin rights in Vibe. On Free, Pro and Student plans, the account owner already has them. In an organization, see Team and Enterprise.
  • A trulyform account. If you’re new, you can sign up from the sign-in page Vibe opens.

Connecting Vibe costs nothing extra on trulyform; it works on the Free plan. Nothing to copy except one URL.

Step 1

Add trulyform as a custom MCP connector

  1. Go to chat.mistral.ai and open Connectors from the sidebar.
  2. Select + Add Connector and switch to the Custom MCP Connector tab.
  3. For Connector name, type trulyform. Vibe rejects spaces and special characters in this field.
  4. For Server URL, paste the address below, /mcp included.

MCP server URL

https://trulyform.com/mcp

Select the text to copy it.

  1. Add a Description if you like, such as “Create forms and read responses.” It’s optional.
  2. Select Connect. Vibe works out on its own that trulyform uses OAuth sign-in, so there’s no authentication type to pick.

Step 2

Sign in to trulyform and approve

Vibe then walks you through trulyform’s consent flow. The sign-in and approval pages are on trulyform.com, so Mistral never sees your trulyform password.

  1. Sign in to the trulyform account you want Vibe to work with, or create one there.
  2. A brand-new account needs its email confirmed. Click the link in the same browser to carry on.
  3. On the approval screen, make sure the Application return address belongs to Mistral, and that the email and organization are the ones you expect.
  4. Select Approve access. Vibe picks up from there.

What you’re approving

Read access to forms and responses across your current organization, plus creating forms, editing drafts, and publishing. This includes teammates’ forms; there is no read-only or per-form selection. Requested data is shared with the assistant under its policies.

Step 3

Put it to work

Mistral says Work can call a connected connector by itself whenever a request needs it. To switch trulyform on explicitly, select + or type / in the message box, choose Tools and enable trulyform. Then check the connection:

Connection check prompt

List my trulyform forms.

Select the text to copy it.

Vibe should run trulyform’s list_forms function and answer from your account. No forms yet? A reply saying the list is empty proves the link works just as well.

A first form to try

Describe the situation in your own words and let Vibe work out the questions:

Your first form prompt

I run a small bakery that takes custom cake orders. Create a trulyform order request form: the customer's name and email, the pickup date, the number of servings, flavor and filling, any allergies, and a short description of the design. Save it as a draft, list the questions for me, and don't publish it.

Select the text to copy it.

The draft lands in your trulyform forms list. Tweak it there or keep refining it with Vibe. When it’s ready, ask Vibe to publish it, and you’ll get the link to share.

Once orders come in, turn them into a plan:

Responses prompt

Go through the responses to my cake order request form. Group the orders by pickup date, flag any allergies, and tell me how many responses you read.

Select the text to copy it.

Decide what needs your OK

Vibe can stop and ask before it runs a trulyform function. You’ll see three choices:

Continue
Runs this one call.
Always allow
Pre-authorizes that function for the rest of the session.
Decline
Skips the call.

For a standing choice, open Connectors, go to the My Connectors tab, select the trulyform card and open Functions. Each function has its own Always allow switch, and these settings apply to you alone. Leaving publish_form off is a good way to make sure nothing goes live without a look from you.

The same tab has a Refresh tools button. Use it if trulyform adds a function and Vibe doesn’t list it yet.

In a Team or Enterprise organization

Adding connectors is an administrator task in Vibe. If you don’t see + Add Connector, ask an admin in your organization to add trulyform with the URL above.

  • Admins manage connectors under Admin Panel → Administration → Connectors, where each one can be Allowed, Restricted or Blocked.
  • Organization admins can also switch MCP connectors off for a whole workspace.
  • Connections belong to a workspace. If you work in several, connect trulyform in each one where you need it, signing in with your own trulyform account.

Disconnect or revoke access

From Vibe
Open trulyform on the Connectors page and disconnect it. After that, Vibe can no longer reach your forms through it.
From trulyform
Go to Settings → AI connections and pick Revoke access next to the Vibe connection. That cuts it off even if the connector stays in Vibe.

Either way, only future requests stop. Earlier answers stay in your Vibe conversations.

Manage AI connections

If Vibe won’t connect

Vibe says the MCP connection requires additional information or is invalid.

Paste the server URL again exactly as shown, starting with https:// and ending in /mcp, then select Connect once more.

There’s no + Add Connector button.

Only administrators can add connectors. In an organization, ask an admin, and check that MCP connectors aren’t turned off for your workspace.

Vibe replies without touching my forms.

Turn trulyform on under + → Tools for the conversation, and mention trulyform in your request so Vibe knows where to look.

Vibe asks me to sign in to trulyform again.

That follows a revoke in trulyform, or 30 days with no use. Approve again; if the approval screen lists an unfamiliar organization, you’re signed in to another trulyform account.
